Core Combat Mechanics — ROKI Clash
#3.1 Simultaneous Attack & Defend
Every round, both players simultaneously choose ONE zone to attack and TWO zones to defend. Both choices reveal at the same time. Both players can deal and receive damage in the same round. There is no hot-seat mode, no turn alternation — it is a tense simultaneous reveal with both players committing blind.
#3.2 Body Zones
Each NFT fighter has 4 body zones. Starting HP varies by player tier (see Part 7). NFT and Paid tier fighters start at 100 HP per zone (400 total). Free tier fighters start at 75 HP per zone (300 total).

#3.3 HP Visibility
- Players see their OWN exact HP numbers for all zones
- Opponent zones show COLOR INDICATORS only: Green (70%+), Yellow (40-69%), Red (1-39%)
- Both total HP bars show exact numbers for both sides
- Exception: the Predator technique lets you see the opponent's exact zone numbers permanently
#3.4 Win Conditions
- KO: Any single zone hits 0 HP — match ends immediately.
- Points Decision: No KO by round 10 — total HP across all 4 zones compared. Lower total HP loses.
#3.5 Match Structure
- Max 10 rounds per match
- 1-2 matches per day per ROKI (rate-limiting to prevent grinding)
- 12-second timer per round for decisions
- 2-round cooldown on techniques after use (default)
