#12.1 Concept
The ROKI Verse is a living fictional universe where the 3,333 NFTs have ongoing narrative presence. AI generates the lore; a human editor curates what gets published. The world updates weekly based on in-game events.
#12.2 Trait-Driven Lore Generation
Every generated lore piece is constrained by visible NFT facts — the art, the clothes, the expression, the accessories, the assigned style, and the assigned techniques. Every backstory must justify what the viewer sees. This is what prevents AI slop.
#12.3 Nickname System
Every ROKI gets an AI-generated nickname at mint, derived from traits. Nicknames evolve as titles are earned (e.g., ‘Ghost of the Harbor’ becomes ‘Ghost of the Harbor, The Still Mind’ after achievement). Nicknames are NOT user-selected, to prevent offensive or off-brand choices.
#12.4 Character Archetypes
Every ROKI is assigned one of ~12-20 character archetypes before AI generation. Examples: The Prodigy Who Lost Everything, The Late Bloomer, The Nepo Baby, The Villain Who Became Hero, The Hero Who Became Villain, The Vengeful Orphan, The Reluctant Champion, The Scholar-Warrior, The Wandering Mercenary, The Clan Loyalist.
#12.5 Three-Tier Lore Production System
Tier 1 — Automated (no human review)
- Initial nickname generation at mint; title additions; record updates; structural metadata writes
Tier 2 — AI-Drafted, Human-Approved in Review Queue
- Initial backstory at mint; streak narratives; milestone paragraphs; rivalry seeds; 6-month career snapshots; weekly clan war narratives; monthly faction champion announcements; revenge match flags
Tier 3 — Human-Written (AI-Assisted)
- Copy Ninja origin stories (50); Mirror Fighter origin stories (50); Seasonal Chronicles; marketing campaign lore; commissioned lore
#12.6 The Editor-in-Chief Dashboard
A review interface where the editor approves or rejects AI-drafted lore. Target review time: 30-60 minutes per week for the founder at launch. Scales to a part-time editor hire when volume exceeds 50-100 items per week.
#12.7 The Guided Lore Commission
NFT holders can pay $ROKI to commission custom lore for their ROKI. Constrained by curated menus to prevent abuse. Holder submits up to 5 character qualities from ~40-50 options and up to 3 life factors from ~20-30 options. AI generates lore using these constraints plus the NFT's visible traits, style, and techniques. Cost: ~5,000-10,000 $ROKI per commission.
#12.8 Holder-Submitted Lore Events
Any holder can propose a larger canonical event. They pay $ROKI; proposal goes to the editor; accepted (tokens delivered) or rejected (tokens refunded).
#12.9 Clan War Narratives
Daily win/loss counts, weekly recaps, monthly clan champion crownings, quarterly Seasonal Chronicles.
#12.10 Eras of Dominance
The AI narrator tracks long-term clan hegemony and declares ‘eras’ when a clan dominates over months: The Age of Iron (Tank), The Long Kick (Kicker), The Silent Reign (Counter Puncher), The Crushing Years (Grappler), The Red Tide (Boxer).
#12.11 Clans-vs-Outsiders Metric
A separate metric tracks the collective performance of Copy Ninjas + Mirror Fighters against the five clans.
#12.12 Lore Does NOT Humiliate Losers
Every fighter, regardless of record, is given a dignified narrative. Lore elevates every character.
#12.13 Career Snapshots
Every ROKI gets a brief career snapshot every 6 months, regardless of activity. No fighter is invisible.
